Gumboot Friday/ Mental health

Gumboot Friday/Mental health

Hi bloggers on the 05 of April it was Gumboot Friday. Some of  the teachers and students wore gumboots on Friday the 5th. Gumboot Friday was to support mental health. Mental health mean when someone is not feeling happy. On Friday we wrote  cards to support mental health. We wrote positive cards like A friend is someone who makes it easy to believe in yourself. We had to write kind cards to people for the mental health. Also went to post the cards in letterboxes and went into groups of 9 or 8 with a parent and we all went the opposite way some went to Hillsborough and the other group went to other house. Some people are having depression is like walking through mud every day. Mental health campaigner Mike King is hoping to raise $2 million with New Zealand's first Gumboot Friday. Nike kings goal was to reach $2 million and all proceeds will go towards the I Am Hope mental health charity. It relate to our inquiry HAUROA-WELLBEING because it relate to our whole well being. I think it is Important that we should do more  cards so that we we can make them happy.
