Film Festival

                    FILM FESTIVAL
HI bloggers, today I will be blogging about our film festival films. We started to film before term 3. Our theme was heroes it was fun doing the theme heroes. I had five people in my film there were  3 student's . 1 teacher and 1 camera person. Here are the Names of the people the teacher was Maryam and the  3 student were Mercedes, Hepi and Peitynn and the camera person was me (Cassie).  There were three winners that won the film festival. I will tell you the names of the films one of the film's  is HI VIS HEROS another was  UNSUNG HEROS and my film was THE LIFE SAVER . Here are the names of the people who made the films in Hi Vis heros was Ayva, Brooklyn , Aahana, Angelina and Hosana. And the people who made Unsung Heros was Torian, Rio, Ishaan and Noah. It was challenging because we had to do our film for 3 minute.  It was really fun making our film and funny at the same time. Here is a link to the films and here what it look like.

PILLOW DAY

PILLOW DAY

Hey blogger Yesterday we had pillow day. For pillow day got to do fun stuff like sleep, read  books and make pillow design on our art book. 

The first thing we did was reading our duffy books with Toutouwai ( room 2) we had to read they books to them. It was really fun reading books with Toutouwai because they were little kids and they were so cute. For the second thing we had kahoot but it was just my class ( Manukau) then we had another kahoot with the whole Syndicate. It was really fun because you got be in partners for the second kahoot. But for the first kahoot was had to be by yourself.

 For the next thing we had to do our maths. For our maths we did enlargement. Enlargement is when you draw a small animals and yourself and then when your finish we had to draw it on a large paper and when you finish you colour it.  And then when the enlargements are finished the teacher is going to put it on the wall. The last thing we had to do was our pillow design for the pillow design we had to find a quote to write on a pillow and we had to find fonts for our pillow. When you were finished we had to draw a pillow frame.

KIA ORA, Today I am blogging about our art.  we started planning it end of last term. All the classes  had to draw two people to from different culture . My class ( Manukau) did  a Tongan boy and a American latin girl. We had to pick three  out of our class. The   winners were Poa, Mercedes, Demetrius. Mercedes won  the top for Tongan boy and  American Latin bottom for the American Latin girl and Poa won the top for the American Latin girl and Demetrius won the bottom for the Tongan boy. Each class had two person to do. When the art is done we are going to  put it on the fence near the playground. Here are some photos of our art.

Mt Ruapehu

                                                 CAMP!!!                                          
Kia ora, bloggers today I am blogging about our camp we went to.

The day before camp I packed my bag and I felt happy. What I packed was my snow gear, thermals and my sleeping bag. As I didn't have a sleeping bag, I had to borrow one from my teacher.


We gather together around 7.30 and then we left around 8.15. On the bus it took us 9.00 hours to get to The Crossing. One of the stops we went to was Otorohanga walkway and
the next stops was Hamilton Gardens.


In my room was eight girls with four bunk beds.We had a lot of games that we played ping pong,
snakes and ladders, chess .For the food we had breakfast, dinner, and dessert.
For the first night we had sausages and the second night we had butter chicken  and for the
third night we had nachos and meat.



To all the year 4 & 3 I would like to say that you guys can do it and I think you guys will be better than us but I have a goal for you and your goal is try not to fall but you guys maybe fall on your
first lesson.
