                                                 CAMP!!!
Kia ora, bloggers today I am blogging about our camp we went to.

The day before camp I packed my bag and I felt happy. What I packed was my snow gear, thermals and my sleeping bag. As I didn't have a sleeping bag, I had to borrow one from my teacher.

We gather together around 7.30 and then we left around 8.15. On the bus it took us 9.00 hours to get to The Crossing. One of the stops we went to was Otorohanga walkway and
the next stops was Hamilton Gardens.

In my room was eight girls with four bunk beds.We had a lot of games that we played ping pong,
snakes and ladders, chess .For the food we had breakfast, dinner, and dessert.
For the first night we had sausages and the second night we had butter chicken  and for the
third night we had nachos and meat.

To all the year 4 & 3 I would like to say that you guys can do it and I think you guys will be better than us but I have a goal for you and your goal is try not to fall but you guys maybe fall on your
first lesson.

Here are some of my work that I did.
And here are some photos we took at the mountain.

Narrative

My Wonderful Narrative
Hi bloggers, today I am blogging about my narrative. For our narratives we had to write about what we did in our relaxing holiday. Our instructions were to use different endings and use interesting problems. My story was about the extreme movie theatre. In my story the characters were my mum, my dad, my brother, my cousin and myself. What I like about my narrative was that we got to write about our holiday. The hard part of my narrative was the ending because we had to write a different endings.

I hope you like my blog and my narrative.

FOOD DIARY

                                                    FOOD DIARY

Hi bloggers. Today I am blogging about our food diary. We have been doing this in Maths. The food diary was about what we had eaten  for dinner, snack, morning tea, lunch and  breakfast. We all had a list to write on. We had to investigate how much sugar was in the food we had eaten. Then we had to add it all up and we had to divide by five to tell us how many teaspoon of sugar we had in a day.  I have 18.2 teaspoon of sugar in a day.The recommended daily in take of sugar is six teaspoon. I am gonna try and cut down my sugar intake. I am going to try and not eat the jelly watches for morning tea, they have 2 teaspoons of sugar! My favorite part of the food diary was when we had to look up how much sugar is in each item.

Today we had to sing and learn five songs.  The songs were In winter, Ke Manuia Te Aho, Choo Choo ch boogie, A Te Tarakihi, o moon, eye of the tiger.
The choir will be performing at the Auckland town Hall on 26th of November. We also practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and sometimes we wil walk down to Hay Park or they come to us. What I like about choir is the singing because I can get better at singing. The other thing  I like  about choir is  that we meet other people we don't know.

Gumboot Friday/ Mental health

Gumboot Friday/Mental health

Hi bloggers on the 05 of April it was Gumboot Friday. Some of  the teachers and students wore gumboots on Friday the 5th. Gumboot Friday was to support mental health. Mental health mean when someone is not feeling happy. On Friday we wrote  cards to support mental health. We wrote positive cards like A friend is someone who makes it easy to believe in yourself. We had to write kind cards to people for the mental health. Also went to post the cards in letterboxes and went into groups of 9 or 8 with a parent and we all went the opposite way some went to Hillsborough and the other group went to other house. Some people are having depression is like walking through mud every day. Mental health campaigner Mike King is hoping to raise $2 million with New Zealand's first Gumboot Friday. Nike kings goal was to reach $2 million and all proceeds will go towards the I Am Hope mental health charity. It relate to our inquiry HAUROA-WELLBEING because it relate to our whole well being. I think it is Important that we should do more  cards so that we we can make them happy.
